Matcha tea extract
Action: stimulates, firms, anti-ageing.
It is rich in tannins, alkaloids, vitamins from group B, vitamins K, C, P and mineral salts.
In cosmetics, it is used to care for impure dry, oily and acne-prone complexions. It has regenerative and toning properties, inhibits the development of inflammatory conditions. It is perfect for problems with fragile vessels, irritation and sunburn.
What exactly does Matcha tea extract contain:
-> Tannins – e.g. tannin, epicatechins (including epilogalusocatechin – EGCG) . Polyphenols have an astringent effect and are used for burns and bleeding. On the skin surface, they create a protective layer, soothing inflammations. Applied externally, they soothe burning sensations and itching. Seals the capillary walls.
-> Alkaloids – e.g. theophylline, caffeine, theobromine. They have excellent draining properties. They stimulate skin microcirculation, have a good effect on flabby skin and reduce swelling. Caffeine is successfully used in cosmetics for dry and sensitive skin.
-> Vitamin K – strengthens the capillary walls, reduces erythema, reduces dark circles under the eyes.
-> Vitamin C – is one of nature’s most effective antioxidants as it effectively protects skin cells from free radical attack, participates in elastin and collagen synthesis and provides a gentle antimicrobial action.
-> Vitamin P – reduces the permeability of blood vessels, has an anti-edematous effect, has an antioxidant effect.
-> Mineral salts – fluorine, iron, magnesium, manganese, potassium, calcium, phosphorus, zinc.
-> B vitamins – tamine, riboflavin, cobalamin. Tamine is helpful in the care of skin prone to seborrhoea, acne vulgaris and rosacea and itching of the skin. Riboflavin regulates the processes of skin keratinisation.
Vegetable caviar extract
Action: moisturises, soothes, regenerates.
It is a rich source of proteins.
In cosmetics, it is used as a valuable source of polysaccharides: laminarin and fucoidin, which may reduce the formation of cellulite.
Green caviar extract can also be a source of antioxidants and natural pigments from the carotenoid group, especially beta-carotene and lutein.
Action: regenerates, nourishes, protects.
Shea butter is an ingredient, which due to its unique properties has a versatile use in cosmetics. Often referred to as karité butter, it is an oil extracted from the seeds of the African Butterscotch tree.
This ingredient perfectly regenerates and nourishes the skin, which helps wounds heal quickly. It is a rich source of such vitamins as vitamin A and E. These vitamins are responsible for delaying skin ageing processes and protecting it against free radicals.
Shea butter also effectively protects the skin against harmful external factors (sun, frost, cold or wind), and additionally has properties soothing irritation.
Activity: moisturises, lubricates.
Cocoa butter is a source of antioxidants, unsaturated fatty acids and nutrients.
It contains oleic, linoleic, palmitic and stearic acids. These fatty acids, especially oleic, soften, moisturise, smoothen and nourish the skin.
It has an antioxidant and anti-ageing effect and makes the skin shiny and smooth.
Effect: softens, prevents chapping of the skin.
Coconut oil is beneficial for the skin and often comes to the rescue of damaged hair. In cosmetics, it is known as the beauty oil. It helps to regenerate the skin, deal with blemishes and spots, and remove dead, flaky skin. It is one of the healthiest oils in the world.
It’s an amazing enhancement for nails, and an interesting base for a homemade skin peel. One of the benefits of coconut oil is that it is not greasy and absorbs quickly.
Coconut oil has a strong moisturising effect. It strongly and effectively softens the skin and makes it pleasant to touch and firm. Due to the presence of antiseptic components, it improves the condition of diseased skin – with rashes, eczema and acne.
